Update on my DIY Garden

3 Sep

Hello!!

I woke up this morning ready to read for class and after going over my syllabus I realized it is Memorial Day! LOL. I’m not used to having random days off. But I was relieved when I realized I had the day to update my blog and paint my nails! Here is an update on my DIY garden!

Who knew sprouts grew so rapidly?! I sure didn’t! But I am like a child checking my plants every day and night! Here are some picture to show you how quickly they have grown in three days! I guess living in Phoenix has its benefits after all! The climate is perfect for planting and growing veggies and herbs! I cannot wait to use them in my cooking experiments but for now the process of watching them grow is equally fulfilling!

First row is the wheat grass! Which is really only good for the appearance unless you have a wheat grass juicer!

My second row is basic alfalfa sprouts which I cannot wait to try in a salad or on a sandwich!

My last row is bean sprouts which grew the most rapid! I hear they are great in stir fry!! Excited to find out!!

That’s gorgeous! I think I might try doing something like that as well… Thanks for the inspiration!
